My friend and I have been talking about possibly completing a 10K (6 miles) run in February. I am kind of hesitant about this because I've only done 5K's up to this point (not too many either). I told her that I'd have to get back to her on that one. If I do decide to do it, I'll definitely have to get to work on exercising more frequently. If you have any suggestions about what to do to prepare for a 10K in the cold weather, please leave a comment below.
Anyway, she told me that it would probably be best to exercise in the cold weather, which I've done before and it's not too fun. I think I'd like to try the 10K and maybe join a gym to get started and then work my way to the great outdoors.
